Week 3 in review ...

Wow! The program is up to 243 registered participants so far - 254 if you include the awesome participants from around the globe – and the third week of fun is still underway. This week there was a lot of neat discussion and discoveries about Flickr and even though this may or may not be a useful tool for you, just learning a little bit about the technologies that are freely available to users is a giant step in expanding your knowledge base. With any luck this week, you may have also stumbled across one or two neat finds that might be fun or useful to the public too!

Anyway - there’s been a lot of Flickring (not really a word – or is it?) going on this week and several staff even tagged and added some to the PLCMCL2 pool. If you uploaded a photo and tagged it “PLCMCL2” , but still don’t see it in the pool, don’t worry; it may take a day or two to get your new account active in the public flickr-sphere.

Here’s a slideshow of what’s been contributed so far. There's several photos of IRL and IMG in here. But with 24 branch locations and new digital cameras that we recently purchased, I would hope to see a fine showing system-wide soon [hint, hint ;)]

Next week is RSS and Bloglines. So if you’re wondering how to keep up with your favorite fellow bloggers among the 243 staff, this is your tool. High achievers can get a jump on things here. :)

PS: If you didn't complete this week's discoveries, don't worry, there's still plenty of time. Remember that the official end date for the program is Oct 31st - and that's still over two months away!
